Plot
Carrie decides that she and Doug are getting dumber everyday, so she signs them up for a classic literature class. Carrie Spooner Heffernan (played by Leah Remini) is a fictional character on the American sitcom The King of Queens. Doug is not very happy about the decision, and tends to goof off in the class. Douglas Steven "Doug" Heffernan is a fictional character in the American Situation comedy They are given an assignment to read the novel Jane Eyre, and then answer questions on what they read. Jane Eyre (dʒeɪn ɛə by Charlotte Brontë, published by Smith Elder & Company of London in 1847, is one of the most influential and Doug never reads it, and is desperate for the answers.
