Edna Shavit (Hebrew: עדנה שביט) is professor in the Drama department in the University of Tel Aviv, and Ha'Levi theatre prize winner for the year 2006, for her life's work in the theatre and university. Tel Aviv University (TAU אוניברסיטת תל־אביב את"א is Israel 's largest on-site University, located in Tel Aviv.
