Ed Perry was a four-year letterman and three-year starter at James Madison. He ended his collegiate career with 113 receptions for 1,283 yards, six touchdowns and two blocked punts. He was selected All-Yankee Conference as a senior when he caught 31 passes for 299 yards (9. 6 avg. ). Perry earned all-conference honors as a junior with 26 receptions for 219 yards (8. 4 avg. ). He also produced a career-high 39 catches for 533 yards (13. 7 avg. ) with three touchdowns as a sophomore. He became named first-team All-Yankee League and third-team All-America by The Sports Network. He received his degree in Sociology.
