Easterns cricket team (formerly Eastern Transvaal cricket team) has played first-class cricket in South Africa since October 1991. First-class cricket refers to the class of Cricket matches of three or more days scheduled duration between two sides of eleven players and officially adjudged first-class by The Republic of South Africa (also known by other official names) is a country located at the southern tip of the continent of Africa

For the purposes of the SuperSport Series, Easterns has merged with Northerns (formerly North Eastern Transvaal) to form the Titans. The SuperSport Series is the main domestic first class Cricket competition in South Africa, first contested (as the Currie Cup) in Northerns cricket team (formerly North Eastern Transvaal cricket team and Northern Transvaal cricket team) has played First-class cricket in South Northerns cricket team (formerly North Eastern Transvaal cricket team and Northern Transvaal cricket team) has played First-class cricket in South The Nashua Titans is the name used by the combined Easterns and Northerns First class cricket teams in South Africa.

Club history

Easterns was called Eastern Transvaal from October 1991 until February 1995, changing its name after the Transvaal became Gauteng. For the Russian theme park see Transvaal Park. The Transvaal (Afrikaans lit Gauteng (xaʊˈtɛŋ Sotho xɑ́útʼèŋ̀ is a province of South Africa. It has been part of the Titans from October 2004.
