Eastern Province is one of Zambia's nine provinces. The Republic of Zambia (ˈzæmbɪə is a Landlocked country in Southern Africa. Zambia is divided into 9 Provinces There is also a campaign by some for a tenth province to be called " Kafue Province" with Kaoma as it's capital The provincial capital is Chipata. Chipata, population 32000 is the capital of the Eastern Province of Zambia. Within the province lies the South Luangwa National Park.
