It was first built in 1915 as the Eagle Rock Carnegie Library. [3]. It was rebuilt in 1927. [3] The library was closed in 1981. [3] It was declared a Los Angeles Historic Monument on 6/18/1985. [4].
It is located at the corner of Colorado Boulevard and Rockland, one block west of Eagle Rock Boulevard.
