eSharp is a project designed to support postgraduate research in the arts, humanities, education and social sciences, based at the University of Glasgow, UK. The University of Glasgow (Oilthigh Ghlaschu was founded in 1451 in Glasgow, Scotland and along with its contemporary institutions the University of St Andrews The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, commonly known as the United Kingdom, the UK or Britain,is a Sovereign state located It has published ten issues thus far of its bi-annual online open-access journal, also known as eSharp, and has a sister journal for book reviews called the Kelvingrove Review. Open access publishing is the publication of material in such a way that it is available to all potential users without financial or other barriers An academic journal is a peer-reviewed Periodical in which scholarship relating to a particular Academic discipline is published An academic journal is a peer-reviewed Periodical in which scholarship relating to a particular Academic discipline is published The project also includes open-access eBooks, local seminar series, international conferences and peer-led training events. An e-book (for electronic book: also ebook) is the Digital media equivalent of a conventional printed Book.
