Before the Tribune's neighbor, KDLH-TV, merged with KBJR-TV, the station had an affiliation with the paper and shared news stories. KDLH, channel 3 is the CBS -affiliated Television station for Duluth Minnesota and Superior Wisconsin. KBJR-TV, channel 6 is the NBC affiliate for Duluth Minnesota ( licensed to adjacent Superior Wisconsin) The Tribune's reporters made frequent appearances on KDLH3news and "Storm Team 3" as it was dubbed, provided the weather for the paper in the top left corner of the weather section. In 2007, the Tribune began a partnership with KQDS-TV with the Tribune's reporters making appearances on FOX 21 News at 9, and meteorologist Todd Nelson having a weather blog in the top left corner of the weather section of the paper. KQDS-TV, channel 21 is the Fox affiliate for Duluth Minnesota, USA, serving Northeastern Minnesota, Northwestern Wisconsin, and The section was previously occupied by KDLH weather team.
