Patterson was a member of the band The Wellingtons, who performed the first season version of the theme song for Gilligan's Island. Gilligan's Island is an American TV sitcom originally produced by United Artists Television. The band also appeared as the band The Mosquitoes in episode 48 "Don't Bug the Mosquitoes" of the series (Dr. Patterson was Bango). He now teaches an addiction course at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California. Fuller Theological Seminary, located in Pasadena California, is the largest multi-denominational seminary in the world Pasadena ( is a city in Los Angeles County, California, United States. He runs the Patterson Therapy Center in Toluca Lake, California. Toluca Lake is a district in the San Fernando Valley region of the City of Los Angeles California.
