Music Video

The music Video for Down In Flames was directed by Doug Gayeton. The video shows a woman in the desert, burning the belongings of a friend who had died, while cutting to footage of the band playing their instruments, with fire burning around the band.

MTV would not air the video however. MTV ( Music Television) is an American Cable television network based in New York City. The fire in the video was a touchy subject as MTV was reeling in controversy after teenagers had set fires, allegedly after watching the MTV cartoon Beavis and Butthead. Beavis and Butt-head is an American Animated television series created by Mike Judge. [1]
