The Dover and Statesboro Railroad was founded in 1889 and began operations between Statesboro, GA and Dover, GA. Statesboro is a city in southeast Georgia, United States, and is the County seat and most populous city of Bulloch County. It was acquired by the Central of Georgia Railroad in 1901.
