Ose was a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from 1999 to 2005, representing the 3rd District of California. Ose is married to Lynnda Ose. They have two daughters, Erika and Emily. Their main residence is in the city of Sacramento; however, Ose is currently renting a place in Granite Bay as to establish residency in the 4th congressional district. Granite Bay is a Census-designated place (CDP in Placer County, California, United States.
