Doolow, also spelled Dolow (somali: Dooloow) is a city in Gedo region of Somalia. Gedo ( Geedo) is an administrative region ( gobolka) formerly part of the historic Upper Juba Region, Somalia. Dooloow city is the seat of the of one of Gedo region's seven districts. In terms of land size, Doolow is the smallest district in Gedo region. Dolow district residents make their living from the farms on the river banks as well as family farms on the interior plains.
Population of Dolow district is just under 40,000 people. Dolow and Beledhawo often times swap populations as they are both located near international borders. Beledhawo district lies west of Dolow on the Kenya-Somalia border.
