Sweet graduated from Washington State University in 1971. Washington State University ( WSU) is an American public Research university in Pullman, Washington. He was a Pacific 10 Conference all star kicker in 1971. The Pacific-10 Conference ( Pac-10) is a college athletic conference which operates in the western United States. Perhaps his greatest moment happened when WSU upset defending conference champions Stanford 24 to 23 in 1971. Perhaps his greatest fame came in the ultimate CFL limelight, the Grey Cup. After retirement Sweet returned to British Columbia and is now a teacher in Mission, B.C.
