Don Fernando de Buen y Lozano (1895-1962) was a Spanish ichthyologist and oceanographer. Ichthyology (from Greek ἰχθυ ikhthu, "fish" and λόγος logos, "knowledge" is the branch of Zoology devoted to the study Oceanography (from the greek words Ωκεανός meaning Ocean and γράφω meaning to write also called oceanology or He lived in Mexico, Uruguay, and Chile.
