Échezeaux is a Grand cru vineyard in the Côte de Nuits located near the town of Flagey-Echézeaux. Grands Échezeaux is a Grand cru vineyard in the Côte de Nuits located near the town of Flagey-Echézeaux. A monopole (literally "monopoly" in French) is an area (often a vineyard controlled by a single Winery, and can be as small as a Lieu-dit La Grande Rue is a Grand cru Vineyard in the Burgundian village of Vosne-Romanée.
