Doc Hammer (born Eric Arthur Hammer on February 2nd in New London, Connecticut, U.S.) is a multi-disciplinary artist, most notable as co-writer (with Christopher McCulloch), editor, and voice actor (Doctor Girlfriend, Henchman #21, Master Billy Quizboy, and King Gorilla) for the animated television series The Venture Bros.. The Tick is a Fictional character, an absurdist spoof of Comic book Superheroes Created by cartoonist Ben Edlund, the character Christopher McCulloch (born September 14 1971) is the creator director and co-writer (with Doc Hammer) of The Venture Bros Hammer and Edlund have since collaborated on various scripts (including Crawley), and Hammer also has contributed to McCulloch's comics anthology Monkeysuit. Together, the three have collaborated on episodes of The Venture Bros.
He is also an oil painter whose work is exhibited at the Arcadia gallery of fine arts in SoHo. Oil painting is the process of painting with Pigments that are bound with a medium of Drying oil — especially in early modern Europe Linseed oil [4] Most of his portraits are of women in bras, and are titled "Saint" with successive numbers.
