In 2003, the label became home to St. Louis rapper Chingy who released Jackpot on the label. Howard Bailey Jr (born March 9, 1980) better known by his Stage name Chingy, is an American Hip-Hop Recording artist After a dispute over royalties, Chingy abruptly left the label. Since then, Disturbing tha Peace has signed R&B singer Bobby Valentino, Field Mob, Shareefa, Playaz Circle, Norfclk, Willy Northpole and rock group Lazyeye to the label. Robert Wilson (born on February 27 1980 better known by his Stage name Bobby Valentino, is an American R&B singer (his nickname being Field Mob is a US hip hop duo originally from Albany Georgia composed of artists Shawn Timothy Johnson (aka Shareefa Cooper (born January 1, 1984) professionally known as Shareefa, is an African American R&B singer Playaz Circle is a rap duo in the Disturbing tha Peace family Most of the artists on Disturbing tha Peace are distributed through Def Jam.
