Dinobot originally arrives on prehistoric Earth with Megatron and the rest of the Predacons aboard the Darkside. EARTH was a short-lived Japanese vocal trio which released 6 singles and 1 album between 2000 and 2001 Megatron Predacons are a faction in the fictional Transformers universe created by Hasbro. In the Beast Wars Television series the Darksyde is the name of the Predacon transwarp ship stolen by Megatron and his Predacon rebels [1] He believes that Megatron has led the Predacons to the wrong planet, and attempts to usurp him in a duel. [1] However, Scorponok, one of Megatron’s loyal crew members, blasts Dinobot away. Scorponok is the name shared by several fictional characters in the various Transformers universes. [1] Determined to find the abundant amounts of energon, he confronts the Maximals outside their base, and challenges Optimus Primal’s leadership in a duel. Optimus Primal ( Convoy, later Beast Convoy to differentiate him from the original Convoy, Blackjack in some European markets is a fictional character from the [2] The engagement is interrupted by a surprise attack from the Predacons. Optimus saves Dinbots life during the attack, prompting the two to come to terms. [2]
Following the destruction of an artificial moon that hovered around Earth, Dinobot begins to realize that Megatron had in fact landed on the correct planet. [3] He infiltrates the Predacon base, and steals two golden discs which contain information pertaining to the planet’s vast supply of Energon, as well as the location of the Nemesis, the ancient Decepticon flagship. The Nemesis is a Decepticon spaceship in the fictional Transformers Generation One universe "Deceptacon" redirects here but is also the name of a song by the group Le Tigre. [3] The disks also trouble Dinobot, as he believes they can predict of the future. [4] Dinobot eventually contemplates rejoining the Predacons after realizing the Megatron was going to triumph over the Maximals. [4] He returns one of the disks to his Megatron, but defies an order to destroy Rattrap. A rat trap is a trap designed to catch Rats however it may also catch other similar sized animals [4]
Consumed with guilt, Dinobot returns to the Maximals. He eventually discovers that the future written on the discs can be altered after witnessing Megatron destroy a mountain, and watching the writings on the disc change. [5] After Megatron also realizes this, he orders the Predacons to eradicate all the primitive ancestors of humankind, on the planet, believing the attack would deny the Autobots an important ally in their future battle against the Decepticons. The Autobot, a faction of Sentient Robots from the planet Cybertron are the main Protagonists in the fictional universe of the Transformers, [5] Alarmed by this, Dinobot single-handled defeats all of the Predacons. He then proceeds to subdue Megatron himself with make-shift weaponry. [5] However, Dinobot sustains mortal wounds during the conflict, and utilizes the last of his energy to destroy one of the golden discs. [5] He shortly passes away as his fellow Maximals arrive. [5] The primates Dinobot saved recover and replicate the makeshift weaponry he brandished to make his last stand, and use it to survive and even destroy Quickstrike and Inferno. QuickStrike is the naming of a Collectible card game gaming system developed by Upper Deck Entertainment for use in their games Inferno is the name of four fictional characters from the various Transformers universes. In the third season, Megatron manages to resurrect Dinobot using the Transmetal Driver and half of Rampage’s spark. The Predacons are a group of Fictional characters from the Transformers universe. (born October 5, 1964) is a male Seiyū from the Tokyo Metropolitan area who is affiliated with Air Agengy The Transmetal Driver is an alien artifact from the Beast Wars Transformers series [7] In his new form, Dinobot is portrayed as Megatron’s mindless servant, albeit for a few instances where he shows traits of his former self. He is seemingly restored to his former self after Depthcharge destroys Rampage. Depth Charge is a character in the Beast Wars: Transformers universe [8] Dinobot, who is now piloting the Nemesis, assists the Maximals by revealing the location of a shuttle within their proximity. [6] Later, he refuses to open fire on the defenseless Maximals, prompting Megatron to expel him from his ranks again. [6] The remaining Maximals use the shuttle to breach the Nemesis’ cockpit. Optimus pleads Dinobot to escape with them, but he refuses. [6] Dinobot bids farewell Optimus, and is shortly engulfed in an explosion. [6]
Dinobot's earliest fictional depiction in comics was in a two part short story told in Dreamwave's Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye series. Dreamwave Productions is a Canadian art design studio and Comic book publisher best known for their multiple Transformers comic book series In this tale Dinobot and his leader enter an ancient Autobot library housing a node of the super computer Vector Sigma where they view the datatracks concerning the Autobots and Decepticons of The Great War. In the Fictional universe of the first Transformers animated series Vector Sigma is the "mega-computer" that gives sentience ("Sparks" As Dinobot dispatches a Maximal security agent his leader obtains the Golden Disk artifact and announces he wishes to be addressed as Megatron from now on.
Dinobot's early story would continue in the Timelines tale Dawn of Futures Past, where he was seen escaping with the disc alongside Megatron and Scorponok, outraged because he was not able to battle the Maximals honorably, having to be cowed into fleeing by Megatron. Scorponok is the name shared by several fictional characters in the various Transformers universes. Dinobot was further outraged when Megatron planned to flee into Transwarp, but was delighted when Megatron opened fire on the Axalon while doing so. The Axalon is the name of the Maximal ship in the Beast Wars cartoon and comic books In this story, Dinobot was never named.
Dinobot appears along the rest of the maximals in the series Beast Wars: The Gathering.
