For thousands of years the Dhakaani Empire dominated the continent of Khorvaire, until the coming of the extraplanar Daelkyr 16,000 years ago. In the Eberron Campaign setting for the Dungeons & Dragons Role-playing game, Khorvaire is one of the larger continents of the The Dhakaani goblinoids could not stand against the might and madness of the alien invasion. By the time the Gatekeeper druids bound the Daelkyr and their servants in the depths of Khyber, the empire was a shadow of its former glory.
