Devonshire Road Junior School was a school in Layton, Blackpool, Lancashire. Layton is a district of the town of Blackpool on the Fylde coast in the county of Lancashire, England. This school is located on Devonshire Road half-way between the residential area of Layton, and Blackpool town centre. In 2003 the original school (built in Victorian times) suffered an arson attack in the early hours of the morning, and after long deliberation was totally demolished and rebuilt as a modern, state-of-the-art school.
