Denise Karbon (born August 16, 1980) is an Italian Alpine skier. Denise Karbon debuted in Alpine Skiing World Cup in 1998, while the following year she was Junior World Champion. The alpine skiing World Cup is a circuit of Alpine skiing competitions launched in 1966 by a group of ski racing friends and experts which included French journalist She won a total of six World Cup giant slalom: in 2003 at Alta Badia and, in late 2007, the five out of the first six races in the 2008 Alpine Ski World Cup. Alta Badia is a ski resort in the Italian Province of Bolzano-Bozen. The 2008 Alpine Skiing World Cup began on October 27, 2007 with a ladies' Giant slalom in Sölden, Austria and concluded She has also obtained a total of other 7 podium placements.
In 2003 Karbon won a silver medal at the World Championships in Giant Slalom, followed by a bronze in 2007 in the same discipline. The FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2003 were held in St Moritz, Switzerland, from February 2 - 16, 2003.
Karbon in season 07/08 got 5 out of 6 wins and one third place with 560 points in giant slalom.
