De Benedictis is the founder of both Fateless Music Records, a label used solely for his own music releases, and the Fateless Flows Collective, a Los Angeles group of electronic composers. He has released three albums with the Fateless Flows Collective through the Fateless Music label.

De Benedictis is the co-founder and producer of Cyberstock, an outdoor music concert and visual arts display held in the Santa Monica Mountains. In its long history, the event has showcased such artists as Thomas Ronkin, Nels Cline, and Richard Derrick. Nels Cline (born in Los Angeles in 1956 is an American Guitarist and Composer. Richard Derrick was born in Torrance California in 1961 and is a lifelong resident of nearby San Pedro. [1]

De Benedictis was educated in Southern California. He is the son of theater and television composer Richard DeBenedictis. Richard “Dick” DeBenedictis (born 1937 is an American Composer noted for composing music for television shows including Perry Mason, His first influences included electro bands: Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Kraftwerk, and Soulsonic Force. Steve Roach may refer to Steve Roach (musician, American ambient music composer Steve Roach (rugby league, Australian rugby league footballer Robert Rich is an Ambient musician and Composer based in California, United States. Loren Nerell (born 1960 is a composer and performer of ambient American music and Balinese Gamelan. After his debut album as Surface 10, De Benedictis's music continued to grow more experimental and sentimental, and he began to diverge from the dance format of Cleopatra. Cleopatra Records is a Los Angeles -based Independent record label. The label wanted more dance music, but De Benedictis was taking a different path. De Benedictis left Cleopatra in 1999. Cleopatra Records is a Los Angeles -based Independent record label.
