The Daycroft School was a coeducational private boarding school founded in 1928 in Stamford, Connecticut and later was relocated to Greenwich, Connecticut. Stamford is a city in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. Greenwich is a town in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. [1] There, it eventually occupied the Rosemary Hall campus from 1971 until Daycroft's unfortunate closing in 1991. Although the school had no official tie with the Christian Science Church, students were required to come from Christian Science families where at least one parent or close relative was a member of the Christian Science "mother church" or a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. The Church of Christ Scientist was founded in 1879 in Boston Massachusetts, USA, by Mary Baker Eddy, author of the book Science and Health with Daycroft has been host to many promising students including Director Zack Snyder creator of 300, Jeff Kratz of Microsoft, Software Innovator Todd Mollerup, Hawaiian Real estate developer Evan Foster, and Vice President Peter Worley of K-Swiss.
