He was born in Taiwan as the son of a former Shaw Brothers actor, Wong Hap, and given the name (pinyin: Wong Wen Ching). After a multi year hiatus in Canada, he returned to Hong Kong Media with the popular Giving which featured new songs as well as remixes of his older classics.
