Personal life
Bent grew up in Tooting, South London, before moving to Cambridgeshire at the age of ten and playing for Godmanchester Rovers. Tooting is a suburb in the London Borough of Wandsworth in south London. [1] As a youngster, Bent was a supporter of Tottenham's rivals Arsenal, and used to have a season-ticket at Highbury. Arsenal Stadium was a football stadium in Highbury, North London, which was the home ground of Arsenal Football Club between 6 September 1913 [2]
