The Dark Bladers are a monster beyblade team appearing only in the first season. The team is composed by Sanguinex, Lupinex, Cenotaph and Zomb. They are a vampire, a werewolf, a mummy and a Frankenstein creation respectivally. They were turned into monsters by their hatred of the Majestics. The Bladebreakers first encounter them in England, then on their way to France, then finally defeated them in Paris. They then kidnapped Kenny (Kyouju) during the Bladebreakers match against the Majestics, and said they were their (the Bladebreaker's) personal monster cheering squad.

When they appeared, this team in the anime is consided to be evil. However, they are not and each one of them has a good side.

The Dark Bladers, or rather, just Sanguinex and Lupinex, reappear in the third season's epilogue (original version only). Lupinex is only seen from the face down but can be told that it is him from his telltale grin, hairy wrists and the fact that he is with his brother.

Sanguinex

Sanguinex is the unofficial leader of the team and Lupinex's older brother. He was turned into a vampire by Robert. Vampires are mythological or folkloric revenants who subsist by feeding on the blood of the living Many people believes that he is from Romania or the UK thanks to the influence of Bram Stoker's Dracula. Romania ( dated: Rumania, Roumania The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, commonly known as the United Kingdom, the UK or Britain,is a Sovereign state located However, there is no proof of this. His bit-beast is called Drac-Attack and it is also a vampire.

He has endless patience when handling his little brother and is usually the one to calm Lupinex's nerves. He is actually polite and mannered. It is rare to see him too his temper and the only time he did was when he lost against the Majestics (and was turned into a vampire).

Lupinex

Lupinex is the hot-headed werewolf-looking guy of the team and also Sanguinex's little brother. He was turned into a werewolf after being defeated by Johnny. He, ironically, is short-tempered and sharp-tongued like Johnny. It is unknown were he is from but since he is Sanguinex's brother, one might think that they are from the same country. His bit-beast is Wolf Storm.

Cenotaph

He is the mummy-looking guy in the team. He was defeated by Enrique , and as imagined, turned into a mummy. He was the first one to appear in the anime. He is supposed to be the brain of the team since he does all the dirty work. He has a creepy voice and likes scaring people. It is believed that he is from Egypt (the reason being quite obvious). His bit-beast is called sarcophagon/sarcophalon and it is also a mummy.

Zomb

He is the Frankenstein-looking guy of the team. Despite his size, he is not very strong. He is actually very quiet and gentle (considering the fact that he is "human-ly challenged"). His bit-beast is a Frankenstein and its name is named Shamblor, which is also a Zombie/Frankenstein. He became one because of his defeat by Oliver.
