As a freshman on Airline High School's varsity football team, he broke numerous state records in passing touchdowns and passing yards. As a top prospect in college, he joined the Miami Hurricanes in 1999. The Miami Hurricanes represent the varsity sports teams of the University of Miami. Starting as quarterback in 2000, he led the Hurricanes to the national championship. As a number one overall draft pick, the Seattle Seahawks were in need of a starting caliber quarterback drafting Dante. The Seattle Seahawks are a professional American football team based in Seattle Washington, USA But 2 months into training camp he suffered a severe concussion after fighting off a gang of thugs at a nightclub. Unable to play football anymore, he retired.
He now runs a foundation that works with keeping youths out of gangs and also has a successful adult entertainment company.
