Daniel Vallely is a designer, illustrator, comic book writer/artist, photographer, filmmaker, musician, and producer. A comic book (often shortened to simply comic and sometimes called a comic paper or comic magazine) is a Magazine or Book of narrative

Vallely's first published work (described by Neil Gaiman as "all shadows and light") was in Saviour, written by Mark Millar and published by Trident Comics in 1989. Mark Millar (born December 24 1969 is an award-winning Scottish Graphic novelist born in Coatbridge. Trident Comics was a Comic book publishing company based in Leicester, UK, specializing in black and white comics created by new British talent Vallely only drew one and a half issues before setting all the pages alight. Vallely's next major work was with comic writer Grant Morrison on Bible John-A Forensic Meditation which was serialised in Crisis #56-61 in 1991. Grant Morrison (born January 31 1960 is a Scottish Comic book writer and artist Grant Morrison (born January 31 1960 is a Scottish Comic book writer and artist His work was highly acclaimed for its complex use of collage and mixed media, although this was some of Vallely's least favourite work. A collage (From the coller to glue is a work of formal art primarily in the Visual arts, made from an assemblage of different forms thus creating a new whole After a few more appearances, Vallely moved out of comics and spent some time as a photo journalist in war-torn Kuwait.

As a musician and songwriter Vallely has been in The Mixers and The Fauves Vallely currently sings and plays guitar with The Void and is a member of DHK.
