The "Damien Knabben Cup" Futsal Invitational Tournament in Taipei (traditional Chinese: 克拉本室內五人制足球邀請賽), or simply Damien Knabben Cup, is an invitational futsal tournament held by Taipei Futsal Association. Taipei Futsal Association ( was established by the Taipei City Government on January 14, 2006. It started from 2006, under the name Taipei International Invitational Futsal Tournament (traditional Chinese: 台北國際五人制足球邀請賽). In 2007, it was renamed to Damien Knabben Cup in remembrance of Damien Knabben, late manager of Chinese Taipei national futsal team who died on April 2, 2006. Damien Knabben ( May 6, 1941 - April 2, 2006) born in Genk, was a Belgian Futsal coach The Chinese Taipei national futsal team represent Republic of China ( Taiwan) in international Futsal competitions Events 68 - Galba, Governor of Hispania, names himself legatus senatus populique Romani, breaking the line of Year 2006 ( MMVI) was a Common year starting on Sunday of the Gregorian calendar.
