Dale Schott is a Canadian animator, who directed the 1986 animated sequel, Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation. Care Bears Movie II A New Generation is an animated film produced by Canadian animation studio Nelvana Limited

As a young man growing up in Norfolk, Ontario, Canada, Schott enjoyed doodling and drawing pictures of his friends' cars. Only did this hobby turn into a successful career when he completed the animation programme at Sheridan College. In 1983 he has worked as a storyboard artist on DiC's Inspector Gadget and as an assistant animator on Nelvana's first feature-length movie Rock & Rule.
