Daedalus is a quarterly journal founded in 1955 as the Journal of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. The American Academy of Arts and Sciences (AAAS is an organization dedicated to scholarship and the advancement of learning Each issue addresses a theme with essays by prominent thinkers in the arts, sciences, and humanities.
