Recovery
D. G. Yola was somewhere in Metro Atlanta where he was upon a robbery attempt-turned-attempted murder. He was stopped a red light in his car when the robber pulled out a gun and shot D. G. Yola in the jaw. Yola is recovering in a hospital in the Atlanta-area. The doctors were able to remove all the bullet fragments from his jaw but they did have to temporarily remove his tract so he has a small hole under his adam's apple. A bullet is a solid Projectile propelled by a Firearm or Air gun and is normally made from metal (usually Lead) This incident did not crush his joyful spirit though as he is packing his CDs and bringing cheers to people at the hospital. His new album, Gutta World, is set to be released in the summer of 2008.
