Name
Rai are the large stone discs used as money in Yap. Rai - Radiotelevisione Italiana, known until 1954 as Radio Audizioni Italiane, is the Italian public service broadcaster, and is considered Yap, also known as Wa'ab for locals is an Island in the Caroline Islands of the western Pacific Ocean.
Distribution
C. rai is only known from Yap in the Caroline Islands. The Caroline Islands form a large Archipelago of widely scattered islands in the western Pacific Ocean, northeast of New Guinea.
