The Cross Crusade is cyclo-cross race series based in Portland, Oregon held over an eight week period during the months of October and November. Cyclo-cross (sometimes cyclocross, CX, cyclo-X or ' cross) is a form of Bicycle racing. Portland is a city located in the Northwestern United States, near the Confluence of the Willamette and Columbia rivers Oregon ( is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. As of 2005, the series was the largest cyclo-cross series in the US. The United States of America —commonly referred to as the  Currently in its 14th season, the 2006 series consists of six races plus the U. S.
