Craig Thomas was born and reared in Cody, the seat of Park County in northwestern Wyoming, roughly 50 miles east of Yellowstone National Park. Cody is a city in Park County, Wyoming, United States. Illness and death
Thomas entered the hospital shortly before the balloting occurred in November 2006 and was initially treated for pneumonia. Pneumonia is an inflammatory illness of the Lung. Frequently it is described as lung Parenchyma / alveolar inflammation and abnormal Two days after the 2006 election, Thomas' diagnosis of leukemia was announced. Leukemia or leukaemia (Greek leukos λευκός, "white" aima αίμα, "blood" is a Cancer of the Blood [3] He immediately underwent treatment in the form of chemotherapy at the hospital and then returned to work in December, a month earlier than expected. Chemotherapy, in its most general sense refers to treatment of disease by chemicals that kill cells specifically those of micro-organisms or Cancer. [4] In early 2007, Thomas said he was feeling better than he had in a long time, but he returned to the hospital for a second round of chemotherapy a month later. On June 4, 2007, Thomas was reported in serious condition, struggling with an infection while undergoing a second round of chemotherapy at Bethesda Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
