It grows to between 0. 6 and 9 metres in height, and has leaves with a shiny, dark-green upper surface which are 2. 5 to 10. 5 cm in length and about 1 to 7 cm wide. The species is found in rainforest and sclerophyll forest in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
