Coronary disease (or coronary heart disease) refers to the failure of coronary circulation to supply adequate circulation to cardiac muscle and surrounding tissue. It is sometimes equated with atherosclerotic coronary artery disease, but coronary disease can be due to other causes, such as coronary vasospasm[1]. Atherosclerosis is a Disease affecting arterial Blood vessels It is a chronic inflammatory response in the walls of arteries in large part due to the accumulation Coronary artery disease (CAD (or atherosclerotic Heart disease) is the end result of the accumulation of atheromatous plaques within the walls Coronary vasospasm is a form of Vasospasm affecting the Coronary circulation. (It is possible for the stenosis to be caused by the spasm. )[2]
