Colin Frangicetto (born July 3[1], c. 1980) is a current guitarist of the band Circa Survive, and formerly the drummer of This Day Forward. Circa Survive is a rock band consisting of vocalist Anthony Green and members of the now-defunct This Day Forward. This Day Forward was a Philadelphia -area band active from 1996 to 2003 whose style varied from Metalcore to Post-hardcore with Indie rock His brother Chris plays bass in Days Away. Days Away was a five piece progressive rock band based in Langhorne Pennsylvania, formed in 1998 He is also noted for his work with PETA
Colin is also a noted artist and frequently raffles his paintings off at Circa Survive shows. In March of 2008, Super Gnarly Industries released a signature shirt designed by Colin. The shirt was limited to a one time pressing of 100 and sold out within a matter of hours.
Up until Circa Survive's winter 2008 tour with Pelican and Thrice, Colin has used an amplifier head with duct tape concealing the name of the brand. During this tour, Colin has switched this amp with Sommatone and Marshall amplifiers. The Sommatone amp contains a "ying" symbol that does not match any of the stock heads on the Sommatone Amplification website, suggesting that it may be custom made. Brendan Ekstrom is also currently using a matching Sommatone head.
