Colasanti Farms is a family-oriented place. Founded by Alex Colasanti, taken over by Joe Colasanti and now owned by Joe's son and daughter. This close-knit family of proprieters has helped the community benefit from its tourism potential, and is involved in many community activities. They take pride in supporting many youth sports teams (women's hockey, Lacrosse, jump rope, soccer, chess tournaments etc). Joe travels promoting the collection of pop tabs and aluminum, to help raise money for wheelchairs. The Town of Kingsville is located in Essex County in southwestern Ontario, Canada and is Canada's Southernmost town Colasanti's serves as the eastern junction of the Chrysler Canada Greenway, which leads all the way to Windsor, Ontario. The Chrysler Canada Greenway is a 42 km-long Rail trail in Essex County Ontario, stretching from Oldcastle Ontario (near Windsor Ontario Windsor is the southernmost city in Canada and lies at the western end of the heavily populated Quebec City-Windsor Corridor. The Government of Ontario even has blue tourist signs posted along Highway 3 and Highway 401 to help guide people to the gardens, along with two massive billboards erected by the gardens's staff.
