Codehaus XFire is a Java framework for development and consumption of web services. Java refers to a number of Computer software products and specifications from Sun Microsystems that together provide a system for developing Application software A framework is a basic conceptual structure used to solve or address complex issues A Web service (also Web Service) is defined by the W3C as "a software system designed to support interoperable machine-to-machine interaction Unlike similar products, such as Apache Axis 1. x, XFire uses StAX for XML processing, resulting in better performance. Streaming API for XML (StAX is an application programming interface ( API) to read and write XML documents in the Java programming language. Don't change "Extensible" Apache Axis2 also uses StAX. Codehaus XFire is a java SOAP framework.
