Coda is a Rock en Español band from Mexico, formed in 1989. Rock en Español ( Spanish for Rock in Spanish) refers to the Spanish-language Rock music. A musical ensemble is a group of two or more Musicians who perform instrumental or vocal Music. Salvador "Chava" Aguilar’s, first band was Steel Hawk the band was formed in 1983 by John Perez, Drums who latter as a session musician in Los Angeles, USA had many of the 90’s alternative bands as recordings credits, and toured with bands like SIN THE MOON GOD, EPICA, RADIO SLAVE, FORBIDDEN DOMAIN and many others. Fernando "el tio" Ortiz Bass, who latter form part of ARTURO HUIZARD'S band ex-LUZBELL, Hector "page" Jimenez, Guitarist and Producer who latter formed part of bands like ALEKS SYNTEK, BOHEMIA, and many others, and Salvador "Chava" Aguilar, Vocals. Chava then moved on to Megaton, Ultimaton, and then Coda which was formed in 1989 by Chucho Esquivel, Salvador "Chava" Aguilar and Toño Ruíz with the intention to do quality rock music. In 1998, Aguilar left the band and was replaced with Eduardo Contreras (formerly of Tercer Acto).
