He founded the National Society of High School Scholars. The National Society of High School Scholars, or NSHSS, was founded in 2002 by Claes Nobel to recognize high school students and offer scholarships and [3] Nobel is an advocate of humanitarian and environmental causes,[1][4] and was honored at the Artivist Film Festival in November 2007 for his work in these areas. Humanitarianism is an active belief in Humanism (the idea of the value of human life whereby Humans practice benevolent treatment and provide assistance to other humans Environmental ethics is the part of Environmental philosophy which considers the ethical relationship between Human beings and the Natural environment [5] He is now the chairman of the board of advisors for World Peace One, also for his humanitarian work. In 1974 he drafted The Nobel Laureates Declaration on the Survival of Mankind, signed by 78 Nobel Laureates advocating support for environmental protection and humanitarian leadership. He advises spiritual, political, and economic leaders. Nobel has received a number of honors and awards, including the Clifford Messinger Memorial Award granted by the Nature Conservancy for his environmentalism. Environmentalism is a broad philosophy and Social movement centered on a concern for the conservation and improvement of the environment.
