CircleRoute is a pair of suburban bus routes in Perth, Western Australia. South San Jose (cropjpg||thumb|A suburban development in San Jose California. Like all Perth bus routes, the buses are branded Transperth and operated by companies contracted by the Public Transport Authority. Transperth is the brand name of the public transport system in Perth, Western Australia. The Public Transport Authority, or PTA, is a Western Australian Statutory authority. The routes are identical except for direction: 98 is clockwise and 99 is anticlockwise. It runs through Perth's inner suburbs and connects Perth railway lines.

During peak hour times during study period on weekdays, additional buses are provided for larger capacities.

Zone boundaries

The Zone boundaries for the CircleRoute was different from the usual Transperth zonal system. A Transperth fare zone is an area that is used by Transperth to determine fares Passengers travelling through more than 2 zones pay the 2-zone fare. However, this was changed at 25 November 2007. To make the CircleRoute zones more similar to the Transperth zonal system, the following changes were applied on April 6, 2006:

Removal of artificial zones

Bus Stops

The CircleRoute is a "limited service", which means that it only stops at bus stops with bus information. Each of these stops is a timed stop.
