Chelpedo punk can be distinguished from its forebear Punk Rock by its incorporation of more repetitive tendencies borrowed from jam rock, occasional slower tempos, and its keeping pace with developments in Taco Bell menu items. Brands Inc, is a restaurant chain based in Irvine California specializing in Tex-Mex -inspired The band credited with creating this genre; NoVictims started back with just Scott and Dale back in 2004. They were looking for a drummer for sometime. In November 2005 Joe tryed out for them in his basement. They liked his playing so he joined the band. Before they had the name NoVictims they went through a lot of names changing them from time to time because of finding out they were already names of bands. The longest names that they went threw were Against Your Will, Explosive Chaos and The Positioned. A friend,Andres, of the trio wanted to join as their singer and did. He later left the band do his own reasons. He gave the band the idea of the name NoVictims. NoVictims startred out just covering songs but later decided to start writing their own. We now have around 7 full songs. After their first show at our high school Scott our guitarist decided to leave the band because he was not into the whole band thing any more. After Scott left they decided to jamn with our friend Micah and they all just instantly clicked and Micah was in. They are now working on new songs. After 8 months with band 5 new songs, and a few shows Micah decided it would be best for him to leave the band due to not having the ability to put forth all the time he could for the band. He felt that not giving all his time was hurting the band so he left.
