The company was divided, apart from being a recording studio, into the label Cheiron Records, in affiliation with BMG, and the music publishing service Cheiron Songs before they became a music-production company Cheiron Productions who were signed by various labels to write and produce materials for other artists.

Cheiron became famous thanks to the many hits they scored at the Billboard and is still regarded as one of the most successful music recording studios in the world. ”Cheiron” was significant with immediate success and the chart hits, it earned the name “the hit factory”. Following the untimely death of its founder and head Denniz PoP in 1998 the company folded.
