One of three Frohman brothers, he was born in Sandusky, Ohio. In 1864, Frohman's family moved to New York City, where Frohman eventually worked for a newspaper. A newspaper is a written Publication containing News, information and Advertising, usually printed on low-cost paper called Newsprint. Frohman died in the 1915 sinking of the RMS Lusitania by the German submarine, Unterseeboot 20.
