Sam Chatham left the band after they were signed and was replaced by Bill Hudson, who relocated to Nebraska from his native Brazil. Bill Hudson, born in January 13 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, is a Heavy metal Guitarist. Cellador's debut album Enter Deception was released in 2006. The band recorded the album at Erik Rutan's Mana Studios. In an article from the December 2006 issue of Metal Maniacs magazine, Chris Petersen says that the band's name came from the words "cellar" and "door". Chris Petersen (born June 22, 1983 in Papillion Nebraska) is the founding guitarist and songwriter for American power metal band Cellador. Petersen said that he read an essay online by author J.R.R. Tolkien which stated that the two words have an appealing sound when combined. He also had mentioned that the band used to rehearse in the basement of one of the old band members, and the parents of that member would often tell them to "close the cellar door", which in their western accent sounded like "Cella door". Petersen also said that the band was originally called "Apostate", but the name was later changed to Cellador because he felt it was more fitting for the band.
