Cause 4 Concern (C4C) is a drum and bass recording and production group, consisting of Ed Holmes, Mark Clements, Stuart Perkins, and Toby Bu. Founded in 1999, the group initially signed with Moving Shadow label under the alias nCode. Moving Shadow is a UK -based jungle/drum and bass Record label that was started in 1990 by Rob Playford. Soon, however, the group changed its name to Cause 4 Concern and started their own record label, Cause 4 Concern Recordings, primarily for releasing their own material. Since 1999, Cause 4 Concern produced over 30 releases of their own material, mostly on untitled 2-track 12" vinyl records.
The group remixed and collaborated with Matrix, Deep Blue, Raiden, Usual Suspects, Teebee, Gridlok, Skynet & Stakka, and other artists. Matrix is the pseudonym of London based record producer and DJ Jamie Quinn Deep Blue is the alias of electronic and Drum and bass musician Sean O'Keeffe Teebee or DJ Teebee is a Norwegian DJ and producer of Drum and bass. Ryan Powell, also known as Gridlok, is an American Drum and bass producer and DJ. [1] Cause 4 Concern also released several records under the aliases Nomis and Troubled Mindz.
