CastleWood Systems
The manufacturer of the Orb Drive was Castlewood Systems. It was formed by several former employees of SyQuest Technologies. SyQuest Technology Inc, now known as SYQT Inc, was an early entrant into the removable Hard disk market for Personal computers. Shortly after the Orb Drive was released, SyQuest brought a lawsuit against Castlewood.
